About this Event
Building on the conversations of the past two years—from creating community in a chaotic world to making room at the table—this year’s Peace in Pandemonium summit invites us to take the next step: Building Communities of Peace & Justice. Together, we’ll explore how deeper understanding, meaningful connection, and collective action can help us build communities where every neighbor can belong and thrive.
Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., as we kick off National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week with a day of learning, reflection, conversation, and shared experience. This year’s summit will feature an interactive Hunger Simulation, a presentation by Jill Ambuehl, Director of Community Impact and Innovation at the Great Plains Food Bank, a keynote address by Pastor Devlyn Brooks, CEO of Churches United, along with round-table discussions and panel presentations exploring hunger, homelessness, and the work of building more just and compassionate communities.
Come ready to listen, learn, connect, and imagine what becomes possible when we move beyond simply talking about peace and begin building it together.
