Target Audience: Administrators, Teachers, Behavioral Support, and Deans
Description: Data can tell us what is happening within a school community, but it does not always tell us why it is happening, who is experiencing the impact, or what needs to change. This 3-hour interactive session will build and move participants from data awareness toward systemic data inquiry and action. 6 Participants will explore how multiple sources of school data (DC Says) including attendance, discipline, student voice, SEL indicators, climate/culture data, academic data, and staff perspectives can be examined through a restorative lens to better understand the experiences of students and adults. Rather than treating data as simply a tool for identifying problems or measuring outcomes, participants will learn a structured process for using data to surface patterns, examine root causes, identify disparities, understand impact, and determine responsive actions.
