RAE IKIGAI – Community & Events by Anne Reyes represents the return of Anne Reyes to the Filipino community in Calgary and surrounding cities. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Ikigai—one’s purpose in life—Anne is committed to creating events and initiatives that bring Filipinos together, celebrate culture and heritage, and foster unity, support, and meaningful connections within the community.The upcoming PBA Motoclub Canada Tour 2026 – Rebanse Edition 2026, is the first project taking place on August 23, 2026, at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Jim Starlight Centre in Calgary.
This highly anticipated event aims to bring together athletes, families, and community members for a day of competitive yet fun basketball, sportsmanship, and meaningful community engagement. We expect participation from over six teams and an audience of approximately 1,000 attendees, including players, coaches, families, and local supporters.
Adding to the excitement, the event will feature celebrated former PBA stars, including James Yap, Jerwin Gaco, Paul Artadi, Ryan Arana, JC Intal, Rico Maierhofer, JJ Helterbrand, and PJ Simon — giving fans a rare opportunity to see their favorite basketball icons up close while inspiring the next generation of athletes.
Beyond the excitement of the game, this event carries a greater purpose. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a chosen charity in the Philippines and to the Canadian Wheelchair Society and Calgary Filipino Catholic Ministry-Sacred Heart Church supporting mobility assistance and community programs here in Calgary. Through this initiative, we aim to make a positive impact both locally and internationally.
