The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #285 is proud to announce our 6th Annual Car Show, scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 10 am to 3 pm. This event serves as a fundraiser for both our Branch and the Veterans Association Food Bank, two essential non-profit organizations. Proceeds from the 2026 car show were instrumental in covering the expenses of repairing a portion of our parking lot and building repairs. However, our parking lot is extensive and continues to deteriorate, with several areas still requiring attention.
Give a ‘LITTLE’ for the ‘LOT’!
We believe that even a small contribution can make a significant impact. Your support, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in ensuring the success of our event and to continue to help our veterans.
In addition to supporting our Branch, we also actively collect non-perishable food items for the Veterans Association Food Bank. Contributions from our members and guests are collected daily, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to assisting those veterans in need. We anticipate a spectacular showcase of over 200 cars in our parking lot, and we extend a warm invitation to sponsors to join us in hosting this premier car show. We gratefully welcome any donations towards this event, including beverages, gift cards, corporate merchandise, groceries, or items for participant goodie bags. As a token of our appreciation, your name/logo will be prominently displayed on our Sponsor Thank You board during the event, on our website at rcl285.ca and showcased on our Social Media pages.
Should your donation reach a value of $250 or more, we will proudly display a plaque on our Friends of #285 Wall in the main room of our Branch, commemorating your generosity.
