This presentation will explore the importance of understanding certain wage and hour

laws to ensure fair workplace practices and its key compliance impact on employees and

employers. It will unpack fundamental concepts of worker classification that are highly

regulated from the differences between a Nonexempt employee and an Exempt

employee; a Contract worker and an Employee. We will discuss employees’ and

workers’ rights to file a grievance and what steps employers can take to safeguard their

business and employees or workers.
