Does your child love animals and have an interest in animal welfare? We have the perfect event for them to get involved! Pawsitive Helpers, a humane education learning event offers youth the opportunity to spend time at the ARLNH learning about and experiencing animal welfare hands-on! Pawsivite Helpers is a packed full shelter experience. Activities include a shelter tour, a humane education lesson, guided small animal care, animal interactions, and enrichment/craft projects. We are excited to provide this learning experience to teach compassion and animal responsibility to youth in our community. Spots are limited, so register early!
The session will run from 9 am-12 pm. This program is open to children aged 9-13 years. Registration fees directly benefit the animals at ARLNH and helps us continue to offer fun and educational programs!
