Thanksgiving is all about gratitude, connection, and community — and what better way to celebrate than gathering with our dogs while giving back to animals in need?
Join Chasing The Wild for our November community pack walk, Paws of Gratitude!
We’ll enjoy a structured group walk through Raccoon River Park, giving our dogs an opportunity to experience the world together, practice calm social coexistence, and enjoy some good old-fashioned biological fulfillment.
This month, we’re adding something special!
🥫 Thanksgiving Pet Food Drive
We’re collecting donations to benefit The Pet Project, an organization supporting pets and their families in our community.
We’re accepting:
* Dry dog food
* Canned dog food
* Dry cat food
* Canned cat food
Donations are entirely optional, but highly encouraged for anyone who is able to contribute!
Prefer to give financially? Monetary donations made directly to The Pet Project are welcome as well.
🐕 What to expect
Our pack walks are about so much more than exercise. They’re opportunities to build connection, practice neutrality around other dogs, and enjoy the outdoors together.
All dogs must remain leashed throughout the walk. Please bring a secure leash, appropriate walking gear, and anything your dog may need to stay comfortable.
You do not need to be a current Chasing The Wild client to attend! All members of our dog-loving community are welcome.
There is no cost to participate.
Let’s fill the trails with wagging tails and the donation collection with food for pets who need a little extra support this holiday season.
