Join us for our second annual Paws in the Park! Located downtown in Post Office Square on Saturday, October 17th for maximum howl-o-ween fun! FREE TO ATTEND!
This pet-centered event is the product of teamwork between the Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District and Bridgeport Animal Control.
Paws in the Park aims to bring together hundreds of our neighbors, their pets, and future pet owners right in downtown Bridgeport for an afternoon of fun... and fundraising! All proceeds benefit the animals of Bridgeport Animal Control.
This pet-friendly fall festival features:
-A Pet Costume Contest and Parade- wear costumes to win prizes!
-A Photo Booth
-Vendor Fair- shop for you and your pet!
-Food Trucks
-Pup Cup Bar (dogs of all ages!)
-Local non-profit animal rescue groups
-Demonstrations
-Music
-Face Painting
...and so much more!
The event is FREE to attend, with something for the whole family- including your dog*!
*Vaccinated, dog-social, and leashed dogs welcomed.

This year, we want to be bigger and better, so we're looking for unique performers that want to support a great cause.
Are you a magician who would love to bamboozle a beagle with a vanishing (and then reappearing!) treat?
Are you a comedian with a love for pets and a great stand-up set?
Are you a Hypnotist who can take people and make them bark like a dog?
We'd love to hear about it and see how we can get you showing off at Paws in the Park! All proceeds for the event go to the animals of Bridgeport Animal Control!
