PAVED RIDE - As many CURVES as I could find in a circle. The only gravel you will see on this ride is from the debris on the road.
Weather Dependent. I will cancel for bad weather. Cold is not bad weather. Raining, Snowing, Possible Ice still on the Road, Under 28F - then I will cancel. COLD RIDING IS FUN.
Starting from Gateway BMW in Chesterfield. Show up at 9:00 for coffee and connect. Riders meeting at 9:30, Kick Stands Up at 9:40. I plan on stopping in for some coffee at La Finca in Eureka for about 30 min (it takes time to order & drink), and then again at Twin Peaks Roastery off HWY30. This ride is about the curves & coffee.
Feel free to brake off at any time during the ride. The ride will end no later than 3:30 - so if we don't make it back to Gateway by then - we end where we end.
ALL BIKE TYPES welcome as this is 100% paved - and almost all back roads. I do recommend you being able to handle 10mph & 15mph hairpin turns as there are several of them. I also recommend being able to keep up at 55-60 mph as we will have some straight-a-ways.
You are responsible for getting and using the GPX file. If you don't know how to use a GPX file - let me know and we can set up a GPX class. I will attach a link under discussion to the GPX Route via the OnXOffroad app, you can download if (STL Twisties) from the 314ADV Group Page, or you can email me ([email protected]) and I will send it.
