Born in Ottawa, Canada, Paul Anka began his remarkable career as a singer and songwriter at an early age. At just 15, he became an international star with his first No. 1 hit, “Diana,” launching a career that would span more than seven decades.
A prolific songwriter, Anka has penned classics for artists including Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, Connie Francis and Leslie Gore. His songwriting credits include Sinatra’s iconic “My Way,” the Academy Award-nominated theme from The Longest Day, and the long-running theme for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Throughout his career, Anka has continued to evolve as an artist, recording numerous hits of his own, collaborating with legends including Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, Michael Bublé and Andrea Bocelli, and releasing acclaimed albums across multiple generations.
A member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and one of popular music’s most enduring performers, Paul Anka continues to write, record and perform, bringing his legendary catalog and timeless songs to audiences around the world.
