Patterns Within is a one-night showcase from two Austin artists who build their work from the patterns they find in nature, hung in the 12th floor penthouse of The LINE Austin.
Daniel Trelenberg cuts silhouettes of plants and animals into hieroglyphic, puzzle-like compositions. His newest series, In Harmony, asks what it means to be a steward of our homes, our cities, our public land, and our national parks, and draws on the ways Latin American and ancient cultures lived in step with the land.
Sophia Croasdale paints the patterns she notices every day: water, seashells, leaves, architecture. Her repetitive process turns those observations into paintings that play with illusion and movement, and ask you to slow down and look closer.
The two are also showing one collaborative piece, made together for this night.

WHAT YOUR TICKET INCLUDES
General Admission ($30): entry, a welcome cocktail, shared tapas, and first access to the limited edition print drop, available only to guests at the show and only for a limited time.
VIP ($100): everything above, plus a signed and numbered VIP print (edition of 20) that will not be sold anywhere else.
