About this Event
What if some of the patterns shaping your life are running quietly beneath the surface, and once you identify them, you can begin to break them?
For the first edition of Patterns & Pilates, we’re exploring something almost everyone can relate to: people-pleasing. Why do we say yes when we mean no? Why can someone else’s disappointment feel so uncomfortable? And how do we start recognizing the programming behind those reactions instead of simply repeating it?
We’ll begin with a guided conversation exploring where people-pleasing patterns come from, how they show up in our relationships and choices, and how greater awareness can help us interrupt and change them.
Then we’ll take that awareness into the body with an all-levels mat Pilates practice, using breath, movement, and focused attention to deepen the experience. Think of it as part conversation, part movement, part self-discovery—a chance to work with mind, body, and spirit in the same room.
No Pilates experience necessary. We’ll provide the mats and towels. You bring an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to do something a little differently.
Come curious. Identify what’s been running beneath the surface. And get the mental and physical benefits as you begin to move through it.
