PATRICE BÄUMEL
(Kompakt - Crosstown Rebels - Anjunadeep)
Patrice is a forward-thinking audiovisual artist, dj, and producer currently living in Amsterdam. He describes his own style of music as “modern dance music for adults”. He was a long-running resident DJ at Trouw Amsterdam, one of Europe’s leading venues for electronic music, where he hosted his “Black Magic” and “HiFi” nights at the club.
Bäumel infuses his productions and DJ sets with lots of energy and a sense of adventure, creating a sound that satisfies the mind as well as the body. He calls it “techno music for grown-ups”.
Currently signed to the iconic Kompakt label, he has also released on well known labels such as Afterlife, Anjunadeep and Crosstown Rebels, which demonstrates his adaptability within the genre.
