It's summer 1989 in Hiawatha, Wisconsin. Jimmy Foley is reeling from the suspicious death of his sister in a hit-and-run accident that also left him with a faulty memory. Before Jimmy can solve that case, he unwittingly time travels to 1862, where he lands in the middle of the Civil War. In a hospital in Washington D.C., Jimmy is invited to join a group of time stitchers, to help save the Union from the assassination of the British ambassador. Wanting to solve his sister's murder, Jimmy declines and returns to Hiawatha in 1989. Jimmy soon learns the cranberry baron of Hiawatha is using time travel to advance his criminal empire. In a wild chase across two centuries, Jimmy and his friends battle traitors, human traffickers, and their own mistakes in the pursuit of justice. Will Jimmy succeed, and avenge his sister, or will the course of history be changed forever?
