I am excited to have been invited to teach a class at the Bloomington Art Center in Bloomington, MN! This is a try it and play kind of class. I will be teaching some of my favorite techniques that I use often in my artwork. If you have always wanted to try pastel, or if you have been playing with them already and want to brush up some skills Join me! From the class description:Explore the vibrant world of pastel art in this hands-on 3-session workshop led by artist Charlene Ridlon. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, Charlene will guide you through the fundamentals of working with pastels — from color blending and layering techniques to creating depth and texture in your work. Each session builds on the last, giving you the time and guidance to develop your own unique style. Come ready to create, experiment, and leave with finished pieces you'll be proud of!
The class is 3 sessions October 19th, October 26th and Nov. 1
