About Kelly
At 20, Kelly O’Hearn stepped off a train in Florence and felt the uncanny certainty that she had been there before. She moved through the city’s maze of medieval streets with a familiarity she couldn’t explain.
Before tarot, Kelly built a career as a professional wine taster, instructor, and sommelier, working in New York, Portugal, and Aspen. After raising her two children, a health scare, the loss of her father, and a divorce led her to begin studying tarot in 2014. She approached the cards not as a crystal ball, but as a language of stories and perspectives that could help her listen to her intuition and recognize patterns in her life. Her practice grew by word of mouth into a global tarot business.
During the pandemic, weeks of tarot readings, captured on video, yielded six interconnected past-life storylines. Following the same soul through powerful women across different eras, Kelly began to recognize a role she seemed to return to again and again: the muse, the mystic, the mistress, but never the wife. Those stories became Arcanum, a series about love, self-discovery, and the possibility of choosing a different ending.
Kelly published her first novel at 57. Now 60, she is writing the fourth and final book in the Arcanum series.
