Come and join us here at Northumberland Haunted Museum as we welcome Susan Winch (DipHyp. BA Hons.) to host a night of past life regression teaching. This workshop will be a generalised session where Susan will take you into a relaxed state so that you can experience the possibilities of your past life memories with the opportunity to do a further 1-2-1 session at a later date.
What is Past Life Regression Hypnosis?
Past life regression is a hypnotherapy technique that uses deep relaxation to guide a person's mind back through memory, and according to practitioners, beyond it, into experiences some believe belong to previous lives. A trained practitioner talks the participant into a calm, focused state, similar to the relaxed feeling just before sleep, and then asks gentle questions to encourage images, feelings, or scenes to surface.
It is not sleep, and people remain aware and in control throughout. Most describe it as similar to a guided meditation or daydream rather than the "you are under my power" hypnosis often shown on stage or screen.
What Happens During a Session
The practitioner talks the participants through breathing and relaxation
Once settled, they are guided through visualization, often imagining a path, a door, or a staircase, as a way of moving the mind further back
The session is brought gently back to the present at the end, with time to talk through what came up
What To Expect on the Night
No prior experience or belief in past lives is needed to take part
Sessions are guided in a small groups depending on the format
Some people experience something powerful, some experience very little, and both are completely normal outcomes
This is offered as an exploratory and reflective experience, not a medical or therapeutic treatment
