About this Event
Assalamu Alaikum,
I warmly invite you to join me for dinner and conversation as we introduce the Indian Muslim American Movement (IMAM)—a new youth-led organization empowering the next generation of Indian American Muslim leaders.
Over a shared meal, we’ll explore IMAM’s vision for building community, celebrating Indian Muslim history and identity, and empowering young leaders through education, storytelling, and grassroots organizing.
We’ll also discuss advocacy against hateful and exclusionary ideologies, including Hindutva and Zionism, and their impact on vulnerable communities. Grounded in justice, human rights, and dignity for all, this work challenges discrimination and oppression while distinguishing these political ideologies from Hinduism, Judaism, and the people who practice these faiths.
This gathering is an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and learn how we can help young people carry this work forward.
