PARTYNEXTDOOR RETURNS TO RICHMOND, VIRGINIA
Nearly eleven years later.
On November 12, 2015, PARTYNEXTDOOR took the stage at the Richmond Coliseum as the headliner of VCU’s Ram Fest.
Nearly 3,200 people attended. Fans began lining up hours before doors opened. And according to VCU’s homecoming director at the time, students had been asking the university to bring PND to Richmond for four years.
That was 2015.
Richmond has changed since then.
So has PARTYNEXTDOOR.
In the decade that followed, the Mississauga singer, songwriter and producer grew from the first artist signed to Drake’s OVO Sound into one of the defining voices of contemporary R&B.
Records like “Break from Toronto,” “Recognize,” “Come and See Me,” “Not Nice,” “Her Way” and “No Chill” became part of a catalog that has crossed generations of R&B fans.
