We are thrilled to share that we will officially launch the Waltham Imagination Library on December 1st!Through this program, every child from birth through age five in Waltham can sign up to receive a free, age-appropriate book delivered to their home every month. We estimate that we will put nearly 10,000 books into the hands of Waltham children in 2027 and 20,000 books in 2028.
Our ambition is much bigger than distributing books. We want to create a ripple effect that positively impacts children, strengthens families, supports our schools, and makes a lasting difference throughout the Waltham community.
We would be honored if you could join us for the launch celebration. Waltham is the first community in Greater Boston to bring this program to its children, and that is something we should all be proud of and celebrate. We still have plenty of fundraising ahead of us to ensure the program's long-term success, but on December 1st, we get to celebrate what our community has accomplished together.
It is very rare that you can say that ordering a burger or beer at a bar helps children's literacy - but on December 1st it will be true! We would love to have you there!
