This year, parkrun Australia is proud to support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and Day for Daniel, Australia’s largest day of action for child safety awareness.We’re inviting parkrun communities to take part in parkwalk for Daniel on Saturday 31 October by wearing red at your event and showing your support for child safety.

In addition, if members of our community choose to wear Halloween fancy dress, this is absolutely fine. The Daniel Morcombe Foundation has chosen this date to coincide with Day for Daniel, so we understand that some events may also be celebrating Halloween.
