The Parkinson’s Disease Exercise Class at The Suffolk Center offers a supportive exercise program designed for adults living with Parkinson’s Disease.Led by instructor Anita Fisher, classes focus on exercises that support balance, agility, and quickness, with an emphasis on movements that can be practiced regularly at a variety of fitness levels. The program is designed to help participants work on balance and reduce fall risk through approachable, guided exercise.
Participants who are independently mobile do not need to attend with a caregiver. If a caregiver is required for transportation or assistance, the caregiver must participate alongside the participant at no additional cost.
