About this Event
An Intimate Classical Piano Concert at Hôtel Cromot du Bourg
A special memorial evening of piano music in Paris, honouring Frédéric Chopin
Join award-winning pianist and composer Mirana Faiz for an intimate evening of classical piano at the historic Hôtel Cromot du Bourg, 9 rue Cadet, Paris 9e, on Monday 19 October 2026.
Taking place just two days after the anniversary of Frédéric Chopin’s death on 17 October 1849, the concert will celebrate his extraordinary musical legacy alongside the contemporary compositions of Mirana Faiz.
The programme will bring together beloved works by Chopin, selected compositions from Mirana’s album DREAMS, and new works from her forthcoming Winter Theme Piano Album, due for release in 2027.
A Historic Address Connected to Chopin
The concert takes place at an address with a remarkable connection to Chopin’s early career in Paris.
In the 19th century, 9 rue Cadet was home to the Pleyel salons, an important centre of Parisian musical life. It was here, on 26 February 1832, that Chopin gave his first public concert in Paris.
Paris subsequently became the centre of Chopin’s professional life. He established himself as one of the city’s most celebrated pianists, composers and teachers, while developing his close association with Pleyel, whose instruments he admired for their delicate touch and expressive character.
Almost two centuries later, his music returns to this historic address in a special evening of remembrance and tribute.
Mirana Faiz — DREAMS
Following acclaimed performances and premieres in Hong Kong, Japan, England and Scotland, Mirana Faiz brings her solo piano album DREAMS to Paris.
Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, DREAMS presents emotionally rich and cinematic original compositions, combining classical virtuosity with contemporary storytelling.
Her composition Whispers of the Journey was nominated for the 2024 Hollywood Independent Music Awards and shortlisted for the 68th Grammy Awards (2026) for Best Instrumental Composition.
Mirana’s performances are known for their expressive depth and intimate atmosphere, creating a musical experience that invites audiences into each composition.
