About this Event
Parents & Teens: The Ultimate College Readiness Workshop
College preparation is about more than getting good grades and filling out applications.
Join us for a 90-minute, in-person workshop for parents and teens ages 15–17 designed to help families navigate the college process with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
Together, we’ll explore three essential areas of college readiness:
FAFSA & Financial Aid
Understand the basics of FAFSA and how financial aid can play a role in making college more affordable.
College Funding & Student Debt
Learn how to think strategically about paying for college and making informed decisions that can help minimize unnecessary student debt.
Standing Out Beyond the GPA
Discover what makes a student a strong, well-rounded applicant and how teens can begin preparing beyond academics.
Why Attend?
The college application process can feel overwhelming for both students and parents. This workshop gives families an opportunity to learn together, ask questions, and walk away with practical information they can use as they prepare for the next step.
