What does the research really say about gaming, social media, screen time and educational technology? Let’s move beyond fear and explore the evidence, then turn it into practical strategies for families.
How do we respond when our child insists they’re the only one without a phone? What if we gave older siblings devices earlier than we now feel comfortable with? How do we navigate fairness when the goalposts have shifted, or manage screen time and content at someone else’s house?
This session will explore the online world that kids navigate today, identifying potential risks and strategies for addressing them.
Join Jo for a practical workshop exploring young people’s mental health, the impact of the online world, and evidence-based ways to protect and support them. Leave with real answers and practical pathways forward.
