Parekh India Impact Prize Info Session & Application Launch

The world's most populous country is a key driver in global sustainability. As India's various industries continue to mature, they will add to global GDP and raise millions from poverty - however, they may also increase pollution, wealth disparity, and other challenges. Impact entrepreneurs have a ripe opportunity to address social and environmental issues across India over the coming years. The GSLI is proud to support student entrepreneurs through the inaugural Parekh Impact Prize, a $10,000 seed grant that will be awarded to a venture that has a social and/or environmental impact in India. This Prize will be launched on November 17th at the start of International Education Week at UT Austin. An info session and mixer for impact entreprneurs working on issues in India will take place on that date from 12:00 - 1 p.m.
