This is not just another haunted history walk or ghost tour. Haunted Hachie is led by real paranormal investigators who have been actively investigating since 2008 and have been featured on the A&E Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, and in print publications such as Texas Highways Magazine.
By day, your guide Sandy Emmons serves as the historian and administrator of the Ellis County Museum. By night, she combines Waxahachie’s haunted history with professional paranormal investigation techniques to create a unique experience for both beginning ghost hunters and seasoned investigators. Andy Don Emmons, Erin Powell, and Ian Powell are often investigators that facilitate the tours.
Your evening begins at the historic 1891 Odd Fellows Lodge #80 , the largest Lodge in Texas where you will check in, learn a brief history of the town, and view compelling evidence captured at the Odd Fellows Lodge during past investigations. We will then do a real paranormal investigation of the building led by your investigators using all of our professional equipment. Group participation is encouraged. Guests are encouraged to take photos and videos, and you are welcome to bring your own equipment. We also feature & provide cutting‑edge paranormal tools for you to use throughout the night.
This paranormal tour is where you become the ghost hunter, using professional equipment to seek out the unexplained.

Info: 7:30 - 7:45pm Check in at the IOOF Lodge (no late check ins after 8pm). At 8pm there will be an overview of building history along with evidence captured in the building we will be investigating. We will have some of the same equipment you see on ghost shows and you will be able to participate all evening. You become the ghost hunter! Evening ends at 11pm.
