Come join me on November 22nd from 2:00-4:00 at Castlerigg in Carlisle to learn the basics of winter bulb forcing and make your own paperwhite bulb centerpiece! You’ll choose a vessel from an assortment of crystal, glass, and ceramic bowls then fill it with decorative river rock, your four paperwhite bulbs, and some live moss. Take your centerpiece home to use as a hostess gift for the holidays or as a beautiful, live addition to your holiday decor.
Paperwhites generally take 4-6 weeks to bloom so they should be blooming by Christmas or just after. Each bulb produces 20 or more flowers over the course of 2-3 weeks, so you will get lots of winter flowers!
