Paper mills were once a staple of factory villages throughout the Connecticut River Valley, even in Chicopee. Join Anton Zamachaj, a former Strathmore Paper employee and Chicopee Historical Society docent to learn about the rise and fall of papermaking in Western Massachusetts.

About the Chicopee Historical Society
The Chicopee Historical Society is a non-profit dedicated to the rediscovery and preservation of Chicopee's history.
