Greenlight is thrilled to welcome Angela Flournoy to our stage for the paperback launch of her beloved and bestselling novel The Wilderness! Flournoy's masterful and kaleidoscopic follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut The Turner House, The Wilderness follows a group of young Black women moving from the late 2000's into the late 2020's, from young adults to grown women, as they figure out what they mean to one another--amid political upheaval, economic and environmental instability, and the increasing volatility of modern American life. Flournoy discusses her generation-defining novel with Chani Nicholas (You Were Born for This: Astrology for Radical Self-Acceptance), followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
