About this Event
A blank page can feel intimidating. A table full of color, texture and unexpected paper feels completely different.
Paper Stories is a relaxed adult collage workshop for people who want to make something tactile without needing to know how to draw, paint or consider themselves artistic.
During the evening, you'll create two original 5×7 paper artworks using a curated library of:
Contemporary imagery
Typography
Colored papers
Textured papers
Maps
Geometric patterns
Kraft and neutral papers
Vellum and translucent layers
Decorative scraps
Metallic accents
Rather than copying one instructor design, you'll work from simple composition prompts that help you combine:
Color
Shape
Image
Texture
Negative space
Layering
Your first collage can be playful and intuitive.
Your second can be quieter, more graphic, typography-led or completely different.
At the end of the evening, choose your favorite piece to frame and take both finished artworks home.
No previous collage or art experience is required.
