About this Event
Join us for exciting monthly sessions where young explorers (ages 8–12) can develop outdoor skills, spark curiosity about the natural world, and enjoy hands-on adventures — this time by exploring the night sky.
Each session offers something new – from games and nature-based activities to practical skills and guided exploration – all led by our team of trained volunteers.
November’s session will be a magical evening of Star Gazing . Nature Explorers will use telescopes to observe the night sky, learn how to spot constellations, and discover fascinating facts about our solar system and beyond. With guidance from experts from Hertford Astronomy Group, children may even glimpse distant nebulae, star clusters, or passing satellites. This session is dependent on clear skies, so we can fully enjoy the wonders of the night sky.
