Welcome to the Pan-O-Prog Speed Puzzle Contest!

Lakeville Area Schools Family Connections Special Education PTO is proud to present its 3rd Annual Speed Puzzling Contest held during Pan-O-Prog in Lakeville, MN!

Registration Information: Read Before You Register

For the 2026 Pan-O-Prog Speed Puzzle Contest, teams must provide a Team Name, along with the names of each team member and their corresponding email address. Please have this information ready as you proceed with ticket registration. This will assist our puzzle team volunteers in ensuring a smooth check-in process at the event. If any changes are needed, simply log back into our registration site to update team details at any time.

We have listened to your feedback and are excited to bring back favorite traditions with some exciting new changes. This event supports special education students, teachers, and programs in Lakeville Area Schools—all while having a blast!

  • Food Trucks: Enjoy bites from new and familiar local favorites
  • Prize Baskets: We are thrilled to offer exciting, themed prize baskets

WHAT IS SPEED PUZZLING?

Teams of 4 race to complete a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle as quickly as possible. Every team solves the exact same puzzle simultaneously. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners in our competitive divisions!

CHOOSE YOUR DIVISION:

  • Advanced: For experienced teams who finish 500 pieces in under 35 minutes (teams must finish under 1 hour in order to place)
  • Intermediate: For teams who finish 500 pieces in under 1 hour
  • Beginner: First-timers or teams who typically take 1–2 hours
  • Family: No member limit. Not timed and not eligible for placement prizes. Includes special prizes for kids.
  • Note: If your team placed in a division last year, please move up one level this year. In the situation divisions do not fill, divisions may be combined.

Please register by June 17th. Entry Fee per Team is $50 for all divisions. The 2026 event registration requires a team name and the names and email address of all 4 team members. Buyers can revisit the Eventbrite site at any time using the link in their confirmation email to update the team’s name and participant list. This process will allow the organizers to check-in of all teams in a faster and more organized fashion.

LOGISTICS & ACCESSIBILITY

  • Date: Monday, July 6th, 2026
  • Check-in: 5:00 PM (Enter via Lakeville North HS "Lower Lot" activity door)
  • Start Time: Kick-off at 5:45 PM; Puzzling begins shortly after 6:00 PM
  • Inclusion: Our goal is for our event to be inclusive. We offer flexible seating, dedicated sensory space, and accessible parking. Standard seating is cafeteria-style; if you need a traditional table/chair setup, please email us at [email protected].
  • Non-participants and viewers are welcome and will be asked to remain out of the active puzzling area as to not distract teams from puzzling. There will only be room for team members at puzzling stations. Contests can be viewed from the perimeter of the contest as space allows.

  • Registration: Please register by June 17th Spots are limited and have sold out for the past two years
  • Keep Your Puzzle: Every team gets to take their competition puzzle home
  • Extra Puzzles: Pre-purchase additional custom puzzles at a special discounted price prior to the event after registering
  • Puzzle Swap: Bring your complete, good-condition puzzles from home to exchange at our swap table!

COMPETITION RULES

  1. Sealed puzzle boxes stay in bags until the timer starts
  2. Battery-powered headlamps/lamps are allowed (no corded lights)
  3. No outside tools or digital devices
  4. No distracting other teams during the competition
