Event description
Join us for a relaxed, friendly and uplifting Tropic pamper and skincare session, created especially for people affected by cancer.
This small-group session is an opportunity to take a little time for yourself, enjoy some pampering and discover a simple skincare routine using Tropic’s freshly made, cruelty-free skincare products.
The session will be hosted by Caroline Colman, Tropic Ambassador, who has her own personal experience of breast cancer and understands how treatment and changes such as menopause can affect your skin, confidence and general wellbeing.
What will happen during the session?
During the session, Caroline will guide you through a gentle Tropic skincare and pampering routine.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Try a selection of Tropic skincare products for yourself
- Learn the basics of a good skincare routine and what different products do
- Discover products suited to different skin types and concerns
- Enjoy some hands-on pampering and time for yourself
- Ask questions and get personalised skincare recommendations
- Chat, relax and enjoy refreshments with others in a small, friendly group
No previous skincare knowledge is needed, and you don’t need to bring anything with you.
About Caroline
Caroline Colman is an independent Tropic Ambassador and the face behind Tropic with Caroline.
Caroline discovered Tropic through her own experience of breast cancer and treatment. Having gone through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and treatment-induced menopause, she became increasingly interested in the products she was using on her skin and in finding a skincare routine that made her feel good again.
Her own experience inspired her to become a Tropic Ambassador and, in particular, to use it as an opportunity to offer pampering and self-care experiences to other people affected by cancer.
Caroline’s sessions are informal, friendly and down-to-earth. Her aim isn’t to give you a complicated 12-step skincare routine – it’s to help you enjoy some time for yourself, learn a little about your skin and hopefully leave feeling thoroughly pampered.

Venue & parking
The session will take place in an upstairs room at The Cornerstone. The room can be accessed by either stairs or a lift.
Free parking is available in the car park opposite The Cornerstone. Alternatively, there is free parking for up to 2 hours on Norreys Avenue.
If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when booking.
Places: I would suggest limiting this to 8 people. Keeping it small means Caroline can spend time with everyone and help each person individually.

Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided.
What to bring: Nothing! All products and everything you need for the pamper session will be provided. As we’ll be trying products on our faces, you may wish to come with little or no makeup on so you can get the most from the experience.
Please let Caroline know on the day if you are currently undergoing treatment, have particularly sensitive or reactive skin, allergies, or have been advised to avoid particular skincare ingredients. Products can then be selected appropriately for you.
