PALLIATIVE AND END OF LIFE CARE SIMULATION TRAINING DAY FOR IMTs @ UHN

Programme to include:
Identification and management of patients with limited reversibility of their medical condition
Identification of a dying patient, developing an individualised care plan and appropriate prescribing
Improving knowledge of prescribing syringe drivers
Improving knowledge on managing common symptoms
Improving confidence and skill with consultation skills in challenging circumstances
Knowing where to ask for help
PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO IMTs but all other grades please express an interest and if there are places you can come too!
