Pallet Comedy is a stand up comedy series hosted by Joe Larson (America's Got Talent) and David Drake (Comedy Central) featuring some of the best comics out of NYC. Admission includes one free beer. This month's line up features:
SECRET HEADLINER
He's performed on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham (2009), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2010), Conan (2011, 2013), and Comedy Central’s The Half Hour (2013). More recently, He's been on @midnight (2014, 2015), The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail (2015), This Is Not Happening (2015, 2017, 2019), Showtime's Live from SXSW (2017), TruTv's Comedy Knockout (2016, 2017, 2018), and This week at the Comedy Cellar (2018, 2019, 2020). He's appeared on IFC'S Maron, TruTV's Those who can't, and both seasons of FX’s English Teacher. He more recently appeared in season 5 of HBO’s Hacks. WHO IS HE?!
ALVIN WILLIAMS
Alvin's comedic journey includes standout appearances on seasons 1 & 2 of the Amazon Prime series Comedy Brew. In 2020, he debuted his Amazon Prime special, "It's Gonna Get Better," a testament to his ability to find humor even in challenging times. The momentum continued in 2022 with two more specials: Amazon Prime's "T.O.B.S. Comedy Special" and YouTube's "Funny For Now." In 2024, Williams released his 4th comedy special ”Don’t Let The Devil Know…” streaming now on Amazon Prime!
Most recently Williams released his 5th comedy special ”Light Work", now streaming on YouTube!
DAVID DRAKE
David has been featured on Comedy Central, HBO, Sirius XM, CBS, Cracked, Don’t Tell, and Fox. He was named a 'New Face' at the just for Laughs Comedy Festival, one of Complex Magazine’s ‘Comics to Watch Under 30’, and one of New York Comedy Festival’s ‘Comics to Watch’. He is a producer of the long-standing New York showcase Comedians You Should Know NYC and a regular at the world famous Comedy Cellar. With seven stand-up albums and four specials under his belt, including the critically acclaimed Big Break , David delivers comedy that’s “smart and engaging” (The New York Times) and “endlessly watchable” (Humorism).
JOE LARSON
Joe has also been seen on Gotham Comedy Live, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Laughs on FOX, the Tonight Show’s Laugh Squad and the Speed Channel. On radio he is a repeat guest on Bob and Tom and the Bennington Show.
