About this Event
Nakba descendants in their own words: Nakba descendants (Lori and Nadia) present a Palestine Teach-in and share personal stories, followed by Q&A and discussion.
Join us to learn about Palestine before, during, and after the Nakba. This free community gathering features Nakba descendants provide powerful testimony about their family Nakba experiences and the vibrant culture of pre-1948 Palestine. Let's connect and continue amplifying Palestinians' voices.
We'll also show a few short clips of Ilan Pappé (Israeli historian and political scientist) and Norman Finkelstein (American political scientist) for further discussion.
Professor Danial Segal (The Jean M. Pitzer Professor Emeritus in Anthropology and Professor Emeritus in History, Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges) and Lori Ajlourny (educator and community activist) will join us for a Q&A session and discussion.
