WHO IS ROTARY and WHAT IS OKTOBERFEST?
The Rotary Club of Palatine was founded in March 1964 to support the people of the Village of Palatine and to promote international understanding and friendship.
This event is the primary fundraiser for the club. But it is more than that. It is an event that brings together people from the village and surrounding communities, of all ages and backgrounds. It's a family-friendly event (Family day is Saturday). Since the event's inception in 2008 we raised funds allowing us to contribute over a million dollars to local charities, in addition to national and international projects.
