In this 3-day workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of color theory while experimenting with a variety of artistic techniques and materials. Learn how colors interact, influence mood, create depth and bring energy to your artwork.
Master Colorist, AL Lachman, will challenge everything you think you know about painting, guiding you to see the world with fresh eyes and take bold risks from the very first brushstroke. Working with any medium, your choice, you will learn various techniques for achieving extraordinary luminosity while learning to trust your instincts completely. This isn’t about following rules…it is about discovering what is possible when you paint loose, free and spontaneously, allowing your own curiosity and emotional truth to lead the way.
As a painter, instructor, author, juror and art gallery owner, AL Lachman has dedicated his life to being a professional artist. He studied at Syracuse University, the Art Students League in NYC, and was honored for his lifetime achievements and contributions by Who’s Who in American Art.
