As the days grow shorter and the season begins to slow, November is the perfect time to settle in, work with beautiful wool, and spend a few peaceful hours creating by hand.In this cozy needle felting workshop, students can choose between two seasonal projects: create a felted wool picture using one of our featured designs, or build a dimensional autumn centerpiece filled with pumpkins, fall leaves, and other natural-inspired details.
New to needle felting? You’re very welcome. This workshop is designed for both complete beginners and returning felters. We’ll explore different types of wool, basic shapes, layering, color blending, and the techniques used to create both two-dimensional “paintings” and sculptural felted pieces.
Students who joined us for our October Halloween workshop are welcome to incorporate pieces they made there into their centerpiece, along with additional wool, seasonal elements, and embellishments provided in class.
Think of it as a little November retreat: warm wool, autumn colors, good company, and a few unrushed hours to simply sit, create, and enjoy the season.
Everyone will leave with a finished wool picture or handmade autumn centerpiece to bring a little warmth of the season home.
