About this Event
Prepare yourself for an afternoon/morning of inspiration, creation, and connection to the natural roots of Texcoco lake. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to paint with nature, using pigments from spirulina and other natural resources that come from the ancient lake Texcoco.
Experiment with new artistic forms, find inspiration in nature, and learn a bit about the rich history of the unique ecosystem at lake Texcoco (who knew that they have harvested spirulina there since the times of the Aztecs??)
All supplies are included in the supplies fee. Students may bring their own paintbrushes or canvases if they wish.
Instructor: Alexandra Marshall. Class size: 2-15 participants. Register by October 21.
Refund Policy
- If a workshop does not reach the minimum number of students within 3 days of the workshop, it may be cancelled at the instructor’s discretion. If you are already registered (and have paid) for a workshop that is cancelled, your whole registration amount will be refunded.
- If you request to withdraw from a workshop 72 hours or more before the day of the workshop, Del Ray Artisans will refund the Workshop Fee and any Supply Fee minus a 15% processing fee.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations less than 72 hours before the day of the workshop.
