About this Event
Join us for a 'painting landscapes' workshop run by illustrator Jess Nash. Throughout the session, you will be introduced to different painting techniques from mixing vibrant colours to exploring a variety of brushes - resulting in the creation of your landscape painting on paper to take home. This workshop is perfect for those who have a good knowledge of basic colour mixing and are looking for a cosy painting class.
Feel free to bring along an image of a landscape that you would like to paint in the session. This could be photos that you've taken yourself or just scenes from other photos that you like. Landscape images will be provided by Jess, if you don't have any.
This week's session will re-introduce you to a simple way of incorporating perspective into your painting. It will show you how to paint with different types of lines (curved and straight) so that your painting feels a bit more realistic.
