About this Event
Get creative, unwind and make new connections while designing your very own tote bag. All materials are provided, and we’ll have some fun friendmaking activities to make it easy to meet other girls throughout the evening. 🤝✨
This is an unguided session, so bring your inspiration!
Have a browse on Pinterest beforehand and come ready to create something you love. Whether you’re super creative or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, this is all about having fun in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 🌸

🎨 No art experience required. Just come ready to have fun and get creative!

What’s Included:
🖌️ A blank tote bag, acrylic paints, aprons, palettes and paintbrushes
💬 Access to the event Instagram group chat for pre and post-event friendmaking
🍹 1 included drink, house wine, beer or soft drink

Itinerary:
6:00 PM: Arrive at East Village Hotel (Level 2), meet our hosts, grab your included drink and start mingling.
6:30 PM: Time to get creative! Set up your palette, chat with the other girls and start painting your tote bag. Icebreakers and friendmaking activities will be available throughout the evening to help everyone connect.
8:15 PM: Gallery walk of everyone’s creations, followed by a group photo! 📸

Who can come?
If you’re part of the Working Holiday Girls community and love getting creative, this event is for you! This includes girls on Working Holiday Visas, partner visas, student visas, sponsored visas, permanent residency and more. 🌏
📱 Will there be a group chat?
Yes! An Instagram group chat will be created approximately 24 hours before the event so you can meet some of the other girls before you arrive.
T&Cs:
- Tickets are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to sell or transfer your ticket to someone else.
- Paint can stain clothing, so please dress accordingly.
- Photos and videos may be taken during the event for Working Holiday Girls social media. If you don’t want to be included, just let one of our hosts know at the event.
- This is not a BYO event. Additional drinks can be purchased from the licensed bar.
