On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the UL Lafayette Alumni Association invites businesses throughout Acadiana to take part in Paint the Town Red Businesses.
This year’s Homecoming theme, “This Is How We Roll!”, celebrates Our Journey. Our Traditions. Our Way. Businesses are encouraged to bring the theme to life by blending Ragin’ Cajuns pride with their own creativity, personality and traditions. From retro road-trip inspiration and classic Americana to nods to your business’s own journey, we want to see your unique take on how Acadiana rolls!
From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our judges will travel across the community, visiting participating businesses that have transformed their storefronts, offices and workspaces into Homecoming celebrations. Whether your decorations are bold, nostalgic, clever or completely over-the-top, make the theme your own and show us how you roll!
This friendly competition is a chance to rally your employees, engage your customers and help build excitement for Homecoming Week while celebrating the traditions and Ragin’ Cajuns spirit that connect our community.
