Painted gnomes are a lot more charming than you'd expect — and trust me, by the end of the afternoon yours will have a whole personality. I'm Amanda, and I'll be hosting this one at D'Vine Mediterranean in Corona, which is exactly the kind of place that makes an afternoon feel like a real occasion: warm, lively, fresh food, good drinks, and that easy Mediterranean energy that loosens everyone up before we've even picked up a brush. The painting is called Gnome Visit, and it's a good one — cute without being cutesy, and the kind of subject where every version looks a little different and that's the whole point. I've run over a hundred of these, so I'll meet you where you are, whether you haven't drawn since middle school or you paint every weekend.
