Bold turquoise, violet, magenta, and glowing orange turn this familiar landscape into something vibrant and expressive.Santa Fe artists Laura Tarnoff and Mickey Bond will guide you step by step as you build the landscape from foreground to sky. You’ll learn how to simplify the shapes of mountains and sagebrush, create depth through layers of color, and use loose, sweeping brushstrokes to capture the movement and energy of the clouds.
This painting is all about color, movement, and atmosphere—and making the landscape your own. No experience is needed. We provide all the materials and guidance; feel free to bring your favorite beverage and snacks.

Artful Soul Creative Experiences is located on the ground floor in the back of the Santa Fe Village Mall. 227 Don Gaspar Ave Santa Fe, NM 87501. If you are coming to an evening class after 5:00 PM you may park in the parking lot of the Santa Fe Village Mall. We will give you a sign to put on your dashboard indicating that you are attending an event at Artful Soul Creative Experiences. Or you may choose to park on the street or the Water Street Parking lot.
