Paint From Your Soul: Empowering LGBTQ+ Voices Through Art

Lotus Unfolding invites anyone in the LBGTQ+ community to Paint From Your Soul™, a dedicated, trauma-aware creative sanctuary designed for shared lived experiences. Fusing gentle grounding breathwork, intuitive painting, and personal reflection, this restorative workshop focuses on creative expression, intuition, and community over perfection or technique.

Whether you are a seasoned artist or haven't picked up a paintbrush since childhood, this is an affirming space to explore who you are, layer by layer.

• A Safe Sanctuary: A low-pressure, trauma-aware environment where you can show up exactly as you are.
• Intuitive Discovery: Express your emotions on canvas using color, texture, and creative prompts.
• Archetype Exploration: Connect with symbolic archetypes during your session: The Creator (claiming identity), The Lover (joy & diversity), The Warrior (resilience & truth), or The Visionary (future possibilities).
• Community Connection: Move from isolation to connection alongside fellow LGBTQ+ individuals.
• No Experience Required: All skill levels are welcome.

1. Grounding & Breath: Settle in with gentle breathwork and set a personal intention.
2. Exploring Emotions Through Color: Layer colors intuitively without worrying about final visual outcomes.
3. Connecting with Your Inner Self: Guided reflection to bring your chosen archetype to life on canvas.
4. Reflection & Sharing: Wrap up with optional small-group or 1-on-1 sharing and reflection.
