We're painting BIG on Friday mornings at Living Line Studio!Working on a larger scale changes how we interact with our materials. There is more room for movement, larger marks, and different ways of approaching a painting.
Painting BIG will be an ongoing Friday morning class at Living Line Studio, beginning November 20th.
We'll discuss tools and approaches to working large during our first session.
Painting BIG | Friday Morning Painting Class
Begins Friday, November 20, 2026
Living Line Studio
Required supplies:
Large rolls of paper and/or large canvases that fit your needs.
Acrylic paint in black, white, red, yellow, and blue. Specific colors are your choice.
Larger tubes or quantities of paint are recommended for working at this scale.
Larger paintbrushes are suggested. I'll include a photograph of a few of the brushes I use for larger paintings.
You're welcome to message me with questions about the materials list. We'll also reinforce the supply requirements in your registration email before the class begins.
A few things to remember:
-We meet each Friday at 11:00 a.m. - 12:30
-Each session consists of 6 consecutive weekly meetings.
-If for some wild reason I need to cancel a session, I will bend over backwards to find a makeup time for you. You will get your painting time.
However, if you cancel, a makeup session is not guaranteed.
- I suggest you bring a sketchbook or notebook to make notes and keep up with ideas.
-Snacks and drinks of any kind are welcome.
-I love my current studio but it is a little odd. Things change a lot and there are always projects of varying mediums in process. It will likely look different each time you visit.
