Description
A paint and sip night in Rockville, MD, at 7 Locks Brewing.
Grab a local beer, pick up a brush, and paint a fall pumpkin canvas from start to finish. Two hours, one finished painting, zero experience required.
This is a beginner friendly painting class with step by step instruction the whole way through. If the last time you held a brush was in grade school, you are exactly who this is for. Come solo, bring a date, or round up a group.
What's included
- Two hours of guided instruction
- Canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, easel, and apron
- Your finished pumpkin painting, ready to hang for the season
Drinks are not included. 7 Locks has a full taproom, so grab a beer, a cider, or a non-alcoholic option at the bar before we start.

Why this isn't a chain paint night
Easel & Ale is small and local. One instructor, one room, seasonal designs made for each class instead of the same stock canvas every franchise runs. Twenty seats max, so you actually get help when you need it.
Good to know
Wear something you don't mind getting paint on. The acrylics are water based and non toxic. All ages are welcome to paint, and guests 21 and up can buy alcohol with valid ID.
