About this Event
Paint & Sip Night at the Hyatt Regency Cloud Street Restaurant
Join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and connection at the Hyatt Cloud Street Restaurant. Enjoy delicious food and drinks while exploring your artistic side in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're coming with friends or looking to meet new people, this is the perfect night to unwind, create, and have fun.
Guided by the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation, you’ll be introduced to the mesmerizing world of alcohol ink painting—a vibrant, fluid medium known for its rich colour and organic, dreamlike movement. No prior experience is needed—this is part of the magic. Just bring your curiosity and enjoy the process.
Using alcohol inks on Yupo paper (a non-absorbent surface), you’ll watch colours flow, blend, and transform in unexpected and beautiful ways. Unlike traditional paints, alcohol inks can be reactivated, allowing you to continue shaping and evolving your piece throughout the session.
Come sip, create, and experience the joy of making something truly unique. Please bring paint clothes or an apron can be provided.
Note: Food and drinks sold seperately.
TIME: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
MATERIALS: All art supplies will be provided.
Drinks and Food are sold seperately
LOCATION: Cloud street Restaurant on the mezzanine level
